Gaudi's Famous works:

 

 

1- Sagrada Familia

The main work of Gaudi is the church of Sagrada Familia (Holy Family).

2- Park Guell

The second most famous Gaudi's work in Park Guell build in 1914.

3- Casa Batllo

Casa Batllo is popular work of Antoni Gaudi.

4- La Pedrera

It’s mostly famous for interesting facade made by stones.

Casa Vicens : (1

Gaudi blued Built between 1883 and 1888 Casa Vicens.

2) Casa La Pedrera:

Gaudi blued Built the home history of architecture, this building as World Heritage in 1984.

3) Casa Parc Güell:

Parc Güell was built between 1900 and 1914 and today is part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

Palau Güell: (4

This is the palace residence of the Güell family. The exterior shows a sober façade that doesn’t resemble other projects made by Gaudi.

5) Colonia Güell:

Gaudi designed this irregular oval church and crypt in 1898 and finished its construction in 1914

1- El Dras de Gaudi at Finca Guell

This building is one of the biggest Gaudi's building.

2- Casa Batllo

Gaudi used for this building in modernism that include ceramics, stone and forged iron.

3- Casa Calvet

Casa Calvet was built between 1898 and 1900 for the Calvets.

4- La Sagarada Familia

This building is the most famos Gaudi's works.

5- Cascada Fountain at Park de la Ciutabella

The Cascada was designed by Josef Fontsere.

 

Death:

 

 

 

On 7 June 1926, Gaudi was taking hus daily walk to the Sant Felip Neri church for his habitul prayer and confession. While walking along the Gran Via de les Cort Catalanes between Girona and Ballen streets, he was struck by a passing tram and lost consciousness assumed to be a beggar because of his lack of idenitity documants and shabby clothing, the unconscious Gaudi did not receive immediate aid, eventually a police officer transported him in a taxi to the Santa Creu Hospital,where he received rudimentary care by the time that the chaplain of the Sargada Familla, Mosen Gil Pares, recomgmised him on the following day, Gaudi's condition had deterioated too servely to benefit from additional treatment.Gaudi died on 10 june 1926 at the age of 73 and was buried two days later.

a large crowd gathered to bid farewell to him in the chapel of our

Persenol life:

 

Josefa Moreu was teacher at Mataro cooperative in 1884 but this was not reciporcated.

Therafter Gaudi took refuge in the profund spiritual peace his Catholic faith offered him.

Gaudi is often depicted as unsociable and unpleasant, a man  of gruff reactions and arrogant gestures, however, those who were close to described him as friendly polite, pleasant to talk and faithfull to friends.Among these, his partonseus eusebi guell and bishop of Vic, Josep Torras i Bages, stand out, as well as the writers joan Maragall and Jacint Verdaguer, the physician Pere Santalo and some of his most faithfull collaborators, such as Franecesc Berenguar and Liorenc Matamala.
